On December 6^th 2009, a dream came true. The Openings of the New Wing of the Euthimeion Centre of Corinth took place. An elegant, brand new building, designed in harmony with the surrounding environment, found its place next to our other facilities.

The New Wing of Efthimeio Centre

This new wing will be used as a Supported Living Shelter. That means it will provide   full (24 hours) hospitality to the children, joined with constant therapeutic care and habilitation, when it is possible, in the pre-professional training programs of our Centre.

and great donation made by D. Christou,

in honor of his wife.

The facilities of our new wing meet all the modern standards, insuring not only the high level of services provided to the children, but also the ideal stay and hospitality, during their time in our Centre.

The New Wing is the new department of our Centre. An indispensable part of the living organization that we want the Efthimeio Centre to be. The children here are not institutionalized, but treated as guests in our Shelter and take part, each of them according hir/her abilities, in every program, event or activity.

-The building is constructed in a beautiful natural environment, allowing children to be in constant contact with nature.

-All indoor spaces are fully heated during the winter and equally air-conditioned during the summer.

-Alarm systems, fire detection and safety systems are fully operating, providing safety to the children and the building on a 24/7 basis.

-All the facilities are fully accessible for people with kinetic difficulties.

-The children are housed in rooms meeting all the modern requirements. The rooms are accessed by natural light and clean air, being comfortable, welcoming and guarantee of a pleasant stay for the children, which is necessary for their rapid and full adjustment in their new environment.

-The common use rooms are spacious, comfortable and functional.

-The auxiliary areas, such as the kitchen, are fully equipped to cover in an ideal way the needs of the children’s stay and living.
